28mm pewter figurine perfect for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG. Cute little half dog/half antelope.

The result of genetic modification by Ancient Scientists of GIMBO Labs, the Beagalope is a cute and loyal companion with a surprising combat trick. It has the ability to make an ‘energy rubber band’ appear between its antlers, which can be used to launch projectiles at high velocity.

Details: This high-quality figurine is cast in lead-free pewter. It is supplied unpainted, and some assembly is required. Model comes as a main body with a seperate ear/antlers part, and a 25mm acrylic base is included.

The Mutant Mayhem Minis line of figures was designed for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, but also go great with DCC or any game that uses 28mm minis. Monster stats for the Beagalope can be found in the adventure module The Rats of GIM, where the Beagalope appears as part of an encounter.

Beagalopes are a strange genetic modification designed to create a superior hunting companion. Not only do they have terrific senses, but they are also highly intelligent and take direction well. Perhaps their greatest asset, however, is their ability to form a web of tangible ‘stretchy’ energy between their antlers that has the power to function as a kind of super slingshot.

This Beagalope model is standing with his legs braced and his head aimed at a target in Assault Beagalope mode.

Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.

I sculpted this Beagalope model for use in our Gen Con/Origins Mutant Crawl Classics adventure scenario ‘The Rats of GIM’, and they also appeared as a stretch goal in the kickstarter for that module.
